Executive Director/Founder/President

Breana Johnson

She was a shadow dweller.

Funny in private. Shy in public. Overweight most of her life and carrying the weight of a mother's silence that taught her she was less than beautiful before she ever had a chance to decide for herself. She worked hard to blend in. To fade. To take up as little space as possible in rooms that never seemed built for her anyway.

She had a few friends. She loved them deeply and they loved her back. But the world at large? She moved through it like a whisper. Present but invisible. There but not quite seen.

That was before.

Before the marriage that took nine years and nearly took everything else. Before the end of it left her alone in a state far from immediate family, with all four children raised and out on their own, a mother who had moved away, and nothing but her own reflection to report to every morning.

It was in that silence — that terrifying, clarifying silence — that Breana Johnson finally met herself.

She discovered she was stronger than she had ever been told. Smarter than she had ever given herself credit for. She raised four children who became four extraordinary adults. She rebuilt from nothing not once but repeatedly — and each time she came back more herself than before.

She learned that her size was never the measure of her beauty. That her scars — physical and emotional — were not evidence of damage but of survival. That her ability to see past the shell of another person, to recognize the buried light in someone who has stopped believing it exists, is a gift forged directly from everything she endured.

She learned to call herself beautiful. Out loud. Every day. Until she believed it.

And then she built a village so no woman would ever have to learn that lesson alone.

Breana Johnson is the Founder, CEO and Executive Director of the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative. She created this organization not from theory or inspiration but from lived experience — from the specific knowledge of what it costs a woman to be surrounded by people and still feel completely invisible. From the understanding that a village is not a luxury. It is a lifeline.

Her mission is simple and it is personal.

When a woman reads her story Breana wants her to stand in front of a mirror. To let it all out — every buried thing, every swallowed tear, every moment she made herself smaller to make someone else comfortable. To release it completely.

And then to find her.

Because the work of rebuilding is waiting. And Breana Johnson has never once stopped believing it is worth doing.

"I am her. And I am my sista's keeper."

Johnishi Marshall

Johnishi Marshall serves as Treasurer of the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative — a position she accepted the moment she was asked, because she had already seen what this mission could become before it had a name.

Johnishi brings to the organization an unwavering belief in both the cause and the woman leading it. She recognized early what others would come to understand — that Bree has a natural ability to make women feel safe, seen and celebrated. That the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative is not like a typical nonprofit. That this is a movement built from lived experience, radical love and a refusal to leave any sister behind.

As Treasurer Johnishi ensures that every resource entrusted to this organization is stewarded with the same care and intentionality that defines everything Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative does.

"I knew she would not fail. My answer without thinking was of course — without even asking what she wanted me to do, I simply said yes." — Johnishi Marshall

Demond Johnson

Demond Johnson serves as Secretary of the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative — a role he accepted without hesitation before he even knew what was being asked of him. That instinct defines everything about why he is here.

Demond brings to the organization a profound understanding of what it means to witness a woman reclaim herself. As the husband of our founder he has walked alongside the mission from its earliest days — not as a bystander but as living proof that love at its most vulnerable and purest form still exists for women who have survived the worst.

His presence in this organization is intentional and personal. He believes that we must reach back and grab the hands of the generation behind us while holding the hands of the sisters struggling beside us right now. He understands that the silence women live in is so loud it is deafening — and that the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative exists to be the ears that hear them, the voice that speaks for those who cannot, and the light for those trapped in the dark.

"Who wouldn't want to be their sista's keeper." — Demond Johnson

Our Advisory Board

The Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative is committed to governance that goes beyond the minimum standard. As part of our founding organizational structure we are in the process of forming an independent Advisory Board to serve as an objective check and balance system for the organization.

The Advisory Board will operate separately from the Board of Directors and will be consulted before any major decisions that could significantly affect the organization's mission, finances, programs or community relationships. Before such decisions are carried out a formal vote will be taken with the Advisory Board providing independent counsel and oversight.

This structure ensures that the Kall Her Beauti Empowered Initiative remains accountable not just to our board but to an independent body of advisors whose primary commitment is to the integrity of our mission and the women we serve.

We are actively seeking Advisory Board members with expertise in nonprofit law, grant writing, women's wellness, community organizing, financial management and brand development.

If you are passionate about women's empowerment and want to contribute your expertise to a growing organization making a real difference — we would love to connect.
